I feel like they love me a little more now

Since I made their new rabbitat, I feel like they love a me a little more. Stitch will come up to me a lot more and let me pet him. Mumbles is making me all kinds of happy because he doesn't automatically run away when I come near him like he used to. If he's all relaxed, he won't jump at any little noise now or be frightened when I walk near him. He still won't really let me pet him, but he comes a lot closer to me now.

I've discovered that just laying in their pen area is great fun. I turn on a podcast and just relax in their pen. lol. They just hop around me and Stitch will let me pet him for quite a while and hop on me. They aren't cuddly bunnies/don't like to be held, and I'm someone who could just sit with an animal on my lap for hours and just pet away. I've been missing the physical contact, so this is a great way to get it. I'm able to sneak in a few Mumble pets from behind because I think he just assumes it's Stitch and not me at first. lol.

I just had to express my happiness.

lol, careful you don't turn into me! I took to sleeping in the rabbit pen at times just to spend some extra time around my little girls and ended up getting a twin-sized air mattress so I could sleep comfortably... which has led to me sleeping in there a lot more often (more than I do in my own bed, lol). it's so much fun to wake up to find a bunny nose-to-nose with you or grooming the back of your head, hehe.

I'm so glad they're warming up to you more - spending time in their pen so they get used to you being a part of their habitat definitely helps them bond to you

I like to lie on the floor and study with my guys. Plus they get at least half of their daily pellets hand fed to them so they're getting very comfortable with coming up to me to hang out.
