I cant take my rabbit to the vet

I don't know how long it been since the previous owners had taken him to the vet (had him for almost 4 months) but I think it's time to take him to the vet the vet bills are expensive here since all of them are private here in norway and it's about 150£-200£ and I asked my dad a couple of times to get him checked incase he is sick or has a illness <<a little information: he's a 1 year old grey lion head that I had now for 4 months, free roams my whole room with a big enough little box with hay and a hiding spot, binkies and zoomies always and energetic>> but he won't do it cause says it's a waste of money but how is it a waste if I'm caring for my rabbits health and even if he doesn't seem sick we will never know if we just sit here and watch

When I was living in my parents home, I had to save up and pay for everything.

I wouldn't stress him out by taking him to the vet unless you think he is unwell.
However it would be a good idea to start saving for inevitable future vet visits!
