How heavy for a mini lop doe?

Hi all, I’ve got a mini lop doe and she hasn’t been receptive to any breeding recently and I am worried it’s because she is overweight... what weight are they aupposed to be and is there any way I can make her more receptive to breeding? Thanks all

I have no clue about the breeding part but I own a minilop and have done tons of research and they should be around 4-6 pounds

How much does she weigh? I had a doe not receptive to breeding either and we found out she had a false pregnancy 9 days after we tried breeding. So we re-bred her and she was totally receptive but we table bred her just in case she’d fight. But we didn’t force her either just to clarify. Also, if you look down at her vulva, it should be large and reddish, that means she is at peak fertility. If she’s not at peak, it’s small and pink. Wait a few days and try again. How old is she?

If you're in English, Mini lops shouldn't weigh more than 1.6 kg
Mini lops in the US are an entirely different breed; they max out at 6.5 lbs (3 kg)
But what matters more for breeding is the condition of the rabbit, not the weight as a number. Any fat deposits on her will make the rabbit less fertile. A more refined doe can still be overweight at 1.6 kg; while a larger bodied doe might be underweight at 1.6 kg

Thank you! She’s 11 months old and weighs 2037g her vulva is small but pinky red. I am going to retry in 3/4 days

She’s a medium size, she weighs 2kg should I put her on a diet do you think? I know it’s 1/4 of a cup of pellets a day but should I feed just under that?

I see that your profile says you’re from Cambridge. I’m assuming Cambridge, UK since you used grams for her weight. So in the USA she is considered a Holland Lop and I believe they generally weigh 2-4 lbs (so 907g - 1814g). So she is considered a bit larger than a normal Holland Lop (Mini Lop in the UK) would be. If her stomach feels large and like she’s full, she needs to be on a diet plus lots of daily exercise. Since she’s a smaller breed of rabbit, I would feed under 1/4 cup pellets. You can gradually decrease it to the amount you think is best for her.
