My doe lionhead about 4.5 pounds had a litter of 6 kits april first. I dont wean until 6-7 weeks but its just taking alot out of her. She is VERY thin. They always has hay and pellets and also veggies. How early can i wean them?

If they are eating and drinking then I would separate them, and just put them in with mom in small groups a lil bit at a time, until they are fully weaned.

and start giving mom lots of veggies to fatten up again.

Have you increased mom's food? I freefeed pretty much when they're nursing and the kits are eating food too.

I'd wean them now.

A heavily milking doe shouldn't be filling up on hay which will prevent her from eating the nutrients she needs. Cut way down on the hay and add a small amount of steam rolled oats and sunflower seeds to her ration. Greens will also increase her moisture intake and help to further stimulate her appetite.
