I’ve never bonded rabbit with each other, so I am quite new with this.

I’ve been letting my doe and buck live next to each other, only separated by a fence. So they get used with having someone next to them. I let them meet without fence a short while just 10 mins and the both where cuddled up and the doe groomed the buck. I separated them again because after the doe groomed the buck, they soon showed signs to a fight would start which I stopped before the doe would bite the buck. The buck wouldn’t groom the doe and tried to lay his head under the doe’s head which triggered it all.

Was not planning to put them together today but the doe jumped into the bucks cage while I was filling up hay, and because they cuddled up and she started to groom him I let them be.

I’ve read up a lot of putting rabbits together and watched videos about it.

I’m planning to try putting them together when I have free time. I’m quite insecure with putting them together.

Because I know they will fight but I also know they don’t fight between the fences, the doe have stopped feeling lonely with the buck as a neighbor.

People make it seem so easy and I can’t really understand how they manage to put two rabbits together.

Both are spayed/neutered.

Some bondings actually are quite easy. Others are difficult or even much more difficult. Some don't work at all.

You do not want them to fight at all. Rabbits can fight viciously and cause serious harm.

What you do want to do before starting to bond them is read as much as you can about bonding. Try clicking on the following link to get started. There are other links there as well. The more you read up on bonding, the more confidence you will have and the more you will know what signs to watch for and how to go about it.
