MrBunns nailed it again. Giving medication to a reluctant bun is a huge issue for a lot of us bun parents, so thank you for posting a method that works for you. It will work for at least some of the bun parents out there.

We've dealt with major yet common surgery on here. We've also dealt with stasis, one of the big pet bunny killers, for those who don't recognize it. We've had Angie's input about what is normal and what is not after a spay.

Seriously, we are so lucky to have all that. Thank you so much who have put your input in, wiser bunny parents result, which means happier buns!

Yes, I must agree. More knowledgeable bun parents result in healthier and happier bunnies.

I have not experienced stasis with my buns, and I hope I never do. The first major surgeries that my buns had were their spay/neuter from earlier this week.

Mr Bighead had no issue; eating and drinking normally immediately after the surgery. For Ms Buns, on the first day, I was so worried about how much pain she was in because of how little she ate. I knew she would be lethargic, but just seeing it took me by surprise. Fortunately, she was much better by the second day and by the third day, she was acting normally.
