OMG!!! How can two little bunnie poop so much??? I've never had rabbits before but holy cow!!!

They seem to be doing all their "BUSINESS" in thier nesting area. Outin their "PEN" area they seem not to do so much (very little in fact).I have a litter box in the pen area that I use PURINA'sYESTERDAYS'NEW'S paper pellet rabbit litter and place a small abount ofhay in one corner..they go in to eat the hay but don't seem to poopthere.

Some more info...I do not put any hay in the nesting area, Ionly put in straw. When I place the straw, I place two piles againsteach outside wall for the rabbits to make their own nest.

Their "FEEDING AREA" is not at the entrance of their enclosed sectionof the hutch, it is placed at the furthest distance from it.

Any help or suggestions would be great!!

move their litter box to where they are going. If they move it, move it back. They will get the idea. I think lol. Itrained mine by doingthat, plus putting their hay in there too.

One thing I learned with Bud. I don't get tochoose where he goes to the bathroom. He marks and i see that as mylittle target of where to put a litter box. Otherwise he'll keep goingthere and make fun of the litter box that isn't in the "right" spot.

I agree with Jace. When i first got Lucky, I lethim choose where he wanted to "go," and i placed the litter box there. That way, we have no problems with him moving it around. You said yourbuns don't really "go" in the pen. Lucky prefers to only do hisbusiness in the cage, and no where else. I guess they just prefer tohave one main place to go..

Hope I've been of some help!:)

Cheers, Nicole:bunnydance:
