:) Hi everyone,

Nice to meet other bunny lovers,I've already met Michaela, hi again..My name is Carolyn otherwise known as Bandit, I am 34yrs old and live in Adelaide South Australia with 2 cockatiels named Billy and Cocoa and a pekignese puppy named Keasha and of course my babies, Bugs who is nearly 7yrs and a New Zealand White, with blue eyes, he weighs 5.8kgs. My other two bubs are Spot who is also white with grey nose, ears and tail and blue eyes and Bandit who has beautiful brown eyes surrounded by black fur and black ears, I love them all very much, they are treated like royalty..

Hey, anyone else from down under? If so where? I'd love to hear all about you and your bunnies no matter where you are from. I have online friends from all over the world. If I can figure out how I will post some pics of my babies. I look forward to being a part of such a great group of people.

Take Care all from Bandit!

Welcome Carolyn! You can join the site www.Photobucket.com to add pics. You can resize them there as well, so they're not too big for the forum. Then after they're uploaded, you copy the IMG code and paste into your post here. We also have instructions here on the forum in the section titled:Chat about the forum, I think that's where it is.;)

Again, welcome to the forum! Can't wait to hear more about your buns and see pics. I love NZs:D.

:)Hi, AngelnSnuffy,

Thanks for the welcome, your bunnies are so beautiful! I have another friend who lives in New York, and one who lives in Florida. It is great to hear from you. I have some wonderful pics to post but I will have to wait til I get my printer/scanner back from the repair shop in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the info about how to do it..How old are your bunnies? Do you just have two? I have just befriended a lady who also lives in South Australia who runs a statewide bunny rescue business, she saves unwanted and abandoned bunnies, she has absolute hundreds.

I wish I could save them all too, my neighbour bought over a box a few weeks ago and I looked inside and there was a baby bunny in there, she had white curly fur and she was outside under his trailer all night in a severe storm she was freezing, so he gave her to me, we did everything we could wrapped her in a blanket and put the heater on, she was so small we called her Munchkin. I had grand plans for her new hutch and everything, we fed her through an eye dropper, but we didn't realise she had two broken legs and a broken back she couldn't walk or move on her own she died a few hours after we got her, I just hope that the few hours of warmth and love and cuddles we gave her made her little life a bit more comfortable and happy. I cried for the rest of the day, just knowing that someone dumped the poor little thing in the first place, made me so mad..

Let me know all about you and your babies and if you want to keep in touch via email feel free to contact me on [email protected] if not I'm sure we'll chat on here. Take care and bye for now, Bandit.(Carolyn)

:)Hi Pet_Bunny,

It's very cold here at the moment, it doesn't snow in Adelaide but it's not far off lol..Thanks for the welcome,I love the pics of your bunnies, what are their names and ages? I love the pic of Down Under by the way. Is it snowing there? Or is it your Summer? I never thought I'd miss Summer! I watched a special on Canada on the tv and they showed this huge shopping complex with it's own hotel, theme parks, water world etc, it's the biggest in the world if I remember correctly, do you live near it or have you been in it? I would love to visit there one day..I hope you are well, feel free to email me at home too [email protected]

Take care from Bandit.

:DHi Bracon, thanks, hope to talk to you too, my Dad is from Bristol is that near Liverpool? Your photo of your bunny is so beautiful, boy or girl? What is his/her name? How old is he/she? What's it like weatherwise over there at the moment? Let me know more about you and your bunny when you have time. I don't know if you have seen my info, but my babies are Bugs 7yrs, New Zealand white, Spot and Bandit 3yrs, they are all beautiful when I get my printer/scanner back I will try to post them on here.I hope this message reaches you, could you let me know if you get it? I'm not sure if I'm doing this right..Feel free to email me anytime at home too, [email protected]

Take care, bye for now. Bandit.:)

It sure is near Liverpool:). I love Aussi, was in Sydney in December for a bit, sooo hot lol. The dp is of my bun Bracon, shes about 12 weeks now and is a blue netherland dwarf. The weather here has been rubbish the last few weeks, its not stopped raining and there's been some bad flooding aswell, today though the sun is finally out! And I hope it stays that way. I cant wait to see pics of your buns, they sound adorable! Hope we can chat some more! The time difference sucks though!

~Love Hannah and Bracon:bunny24~

:DHi Hannah and Bracon,

Sorry to hear about your bad weather, what a downer. I went to Sydney on a mystery flight once it was nice but I prefer the feel of Adelaide it's nice and quiet, some areas really feel like small country towns, the city is bustling though. Bracon is beautiful, is she an indoor bunny? My Bugs is an indoor bunny, it's pretty easy to house train them. Spot and Bandit are house trained as well when they come inside when it's too hot for them outside they have a litter tray they use, they are so cute!

When I first got my Bugs he was so tiny, I thought he was a miniature and they were selling him too young!! He fit in the palm of my hand, now he weighs 5.8 kgs..Does Bracon lick you alot? Bugs is always licking my arms or my cheek and nose, is that because they are showing that they love us? Or do we just taste good, lol? Well it's 1.30 in the morning here so I'm going back to bed and try to catch some zzzz's, catch up with you soon I hope.

Take care love, Bandit and bunnies.

Hi again Carolyn, sorry, missed your post last night.

That's really sad about that baby that was found. People make me mad too. I prefer not to here those things, but what can ya do?

Yes, I just have those two buns. I really would like at least one more, but we lack the space right now. The black and white one is Angel, a mini rex, and she's almost 7. The other one is of course Snuffy, a Holland Lop who is about 3. Both were basically adopted, so I don't know their real ages.;)

Talk to ya soon! Take care.

Crystal:D

That's awful about poor little Munchkin, I don't get how some people can be so cruel, binky free little baby :rainbow:

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this place, we have loads of members from all over the world and we are all bunny crazy ;)

It is summer here, andit isthe hottest time of the year for us. (32*C).

I have one bunny, the brown one in my avatar is Pebbles. She is 3 years old. The other bunny stayed at our place when the owners were on vacation.

The shopping complex is West Edmonton Mall. It is the biggest or one of the biggest shopping centres in the world, and I am only 20 minutes from it. My sons girlfriend works there.

Rainbows! :)

:) Hi again,

Pebbles is so adorable, they look like they got along well, sorry to hear the weather is so hot there at the moment, I bring my Spot and Bandit inside in the heat, is pebbles an inside house trained bunny, my Bugs is but he also goes outside on nice days. The mall sounds fabulous, how great to live so close, do you go there often?Have to go, talk to you again I hope, Bandit.

Pebbles is an indoor bunny, living in an air-conditioned house (spoiled rabbit). :p
On nice days, I let her run in the backyard. On other days, she has a run in the basement. Most of the time, she has an area in the dining room under the kitchen table.

I will be going to the Mall with my wife tomorrow. Got to make sure she doesn't spend all our money there. ;) There are two pet shops in the mall, where I like to check up on the bunnies.

Rainbows! :)

:DI know what you mean, Bugs is spoiled too! He lies in the loungeroom during the day when he's not outside playing and he sleeps with me in my room he has a corner set up with a hutch, but most of the time he jumps on my head and sleeps with me. Good luck with the shopping, you'll need it if your wife is anything like me, Mum says I could find something to buy in the desert..lol. Nice to hear from you again, Take care, bye for now, Bandit..:)

Hi! I live right next door to you, in New Zealand :D.

Isn't it cold?! It's freezing here, we've been having lots of storms and bad wind, and flooding further up north. Our power went off last night for about ten minutes .

Can't wait to see some pictures of your rabbits, especially Bandit :biggrin2:.

:) Hey, G'Day neighbour!

It's nice to meet you Michelle, that's my middle name by the way...It is absolutely freezing, we just went to the bank and my hands are frozen, should have worn my gloves. Your bunny is so cute, I will post some pics as soon as I can, I love them all, but I have to admit Bandit is the most striking looking. They are all cute though. Thanks for the nice welcome, hope to speak to you again soon, I'm going to wrap my hands around a nice hot cup of coffee, lol mabye they'll defrost..

Take care, from Bandit

Finding diamonds in the desert would be nice. :D

We spent a few hours walking the mall. Stopped in one of the stores to get one of my wife'sdiamond appraised. Then I was off to see all the attractions and things going on in the West Edmonton Mall. Everybody thinks I'm a tourist there, because I carry my camera with me everywhere I go. The mall was decorated in a Christmas Theme as a movie called "Christmas in Wonderland" was being filmed.

I did stop in all the pet shops to check in on the bunnies. Took pictures of them too.

Rainbows! :)
