Just wanted to stop in and say hi! Was looking up some rabbit stuff and really loved this site.
I have a lil boy rabbit (X
He was born sometime in mid february 2012 I believe, based on gestation times, how long before they can be sold, and the talk I had with the owner.
I just consider his birthday to be valentines day
So he is about eight months old now? I think so.
He is an unaltered male dwarf, and the orneriest little boy you will ever meet. Incredibly intelligant and social, he loves being around people, probably because he is also infatuated with feet; and will follow you around.
I /believe/ he is a blue tortoise, will post up some pictures when I get home. he is a dusty grey brown with darker grey points. Not much darker, but just enough to be noticable. His feet are fluffy and white underneath, but that is the only light colored area.
As for breed, don't remember what the breeder told me, if she did.
I am assuming he is a mini rex, since he is ~3lbs, has that insanely soft coat, 3.5inch ears, ect. But his fur doesn't stand straight up... Not really sure. Again, will post some pictures.
Hm. His favorite thing to do is be anywhere he is not supposed to be, or run circles/lick/nip/purr.
He is also not neutered, since I do not know a good place around here to have it done, and I am worried it could alter his curious/adventurous personality.

NB loves spinach, but hates kale. He will jump onto my dad and lick his ears (pretty hilarious). He is not scared of anything - dogs, cats, rabbits, turkeys, ducks, nothing. I had him on his harness/leash for a petting zoo, and he spent his time running from animal to animal, around the boxer's legs, trying to lick the turkey, just goin nuts.
He has an insane amount of energy, can't hardly ever sit still.
Loves to sit on the bricks of our fireplace and sprawl out, even if a fire is going. (There is a huge screen blocking it off, and we watch him carefully)
And of course, everything in the house belongs to him, since he chin-rubs EVERYTHING. lol.
NB is my second rabbit, my first was a dwarf Hotot named Maxie, and she died in January 2012. I had her for ... almost ten years. Don't know what happened, she just started becomming paralyzed and ill in general. It wasn't long after that.</3
But now I have my lil boy, and he keeps me happy
