I'm horrid at resume making. I stick to retail jobs so I don't have to deal with them. When I do apply for jobs that need resumes, I'm never called back. It might have something to do with lack of experience as well but a nice resume wouldn't hurt.

I was wondering if someone on the forum could help me out here. Anyone really good at sprucing one up together? It's job specific and not a general one. Time is not of the essence so take all the time you need. I could give all specifics you need via pm or email.

If incentive is needed, I will donate $10 to the forum or the rescue of their choice (once I get my tax return :embarrassed:)

Hit me up on Yahoo when you get a chance..

I pretty much write everybody else's up in these parts..

You probably just need some creative marketing.

Hey, the best things to do are:

keep it to one page!!!

SELL YOURSELF (as well as in interviews)

I used to do interviews, testing and some hiring for a major not-for-profit National Company..... the first thing I looked at was how it was organized, how easy it was to read...... then the information.

Go to google and find a simple resume or do you have Microsoft Works? I think it has a template.

3 jobs, ALL duties you performed at those jobs.

Why do you want a job with THAT company...... make it something you can edit for different places you want to send the resume - making it personal to that company is a plus.

What makes you the person we want.

3 BUSINESS references... not mom or aunt betty.
