Help! Pregnant rabbit

this is my rabbits 3rd liter .. it’s day 30 and she hasn’t pulled any furr or started nesting at all. Her belly is huge so she’s is defiantly pregnant! She usually pulls furr multiple days before giving birth . Should I be worried?! Could the kits be dead inside her?

It’s usually on day 35 that you should be worried and call the vet. Bunnies can pull fur a few minutes before birth. Give her more time and keep us updated!!

We usually wait an extra week to see if they are pulling or have has the babies

She had to babies this morning! They look a little shriveled though. But there belly looks some what round . When should I intervene and feed them?

See if the mom takes care of them if not interview as soon as possible and wean them whenever they are eating normal food which is around 6 to 7 ish weeks

It can take up to 48h (rare) that she feeds them, most do it much earlier. If the kits are in nice, dry nest (check that) covered with fur and the doe is clean and relaxing just feed her well, a lot more than she usually eats and unlimited hay.

Let her rest and give her privacy for nursing - my does don't go anyway near the nest while Anyone is around, I very seldom notice them nursing - and that's only when I come around when she has already started.

Breeding and raising more bunnys is what rabbits excel at, most times there isn't any intervention necessary.

I let the does decide when to wean, I just seperate the bucklings at 12 weeks (bigger breed, they don't mature before 16wks, with small breeds 8-10weeks would be the time to separate). When circumstances demand it it's ok to wean at 4 weeks, like when the next litter is about to be born.

I did see a dot of black (poop I'm guessing) on there bum. There also was a placenta left in the nest that the mother didn't eat. The babies are warm and defiantly have energy. When should I wait to intervene? Tomorrow morning if they still look shriveled?

Every litter I’ve had look shriveled like in your photo, but they are still round (if that makes any sense) it’s normal in my opinion to have this, as long as their tummies are looking full then I wouldn’t worry. How many did she have?

Because there is only two, they are getting heaps of milk so they will definitely be well fed and grow big! Soooo cute!

I would definitely say it is a broken, because Charlies only have minimal coloring on the face and yours shown in the photo has quite a lot. Cutie though
