!HELP! my bunny has some crust in the corners of his eyes every morning, he has a tiny bit of discharge out his nose also.

My bunny bugs (3 months 1 week) has some discharge out the front of his eyes. He used to sneeze, and I took him to the vet. The vet said he was fine and healthy, but I don't believe him. Since I took him to the vet he has been better, no more sneezing. Less discharge in nose, however the crust remains the same. His eyes are clear bright and white, nothing in them or irritants visible, he has been binkying and zooming around fine, he eats normally and his poops are golden and healthy. He drinks normally and he also still has super clear interest and desperation in his favourite treats and food. He's eating just fine and his teeth are a good size the vet said. They're not overgrown. He flops around and everything and I have to clear the crust every morning. Any ideas? please help it has been going on for a month. Any advice would be awesome!

How do the eye look like? Post a picture and it will be easier to see how it looks.

My bunnies will always have eye boogers and during molting one of them get a lot of it. Because the fur is molting and can irritate his eyes. So I just wash it aways with a damp cloth or I will just pick away the crust if it’s loose.

It can also be something in the enviroment causing the extra discharge.

I'd take your bun to a different, knowledgeable rabbit vet. Discharge out of the eyes and/or nose usually means there's an infection or something happening. For the eyes, make sure to wet a cloth or something with warm water and dab around them so they don't get gunky or too crusty with the discharge. Also, when rabbits clean their faces when they are sick, sometimes the discharge can make their fur gross so look out for that. I hope there isn't anything serious going on with your bunny, and that he gets better soon!
