Help is this okay ?? Rabbit poo different

Hi my 3 year old lop eared snow
Has done some large poops than her normal ones, does this mean anything ??
I've tried to attach the picture of the poop
It's just very large and sticky than her normal poops, but shes doing normal poops too. I've put the picture of her normal smaller poops too so you can see what I mean

Have you changed anything in her diet or given her any new foods? Has she had a stressful experience recently? Is she still producing the odd shaped poop? Are you seeing any threads of mucous or blood in her droppings? Is she a mostly white rabbit with maybe some spots or marks of color? How long have you had her and has this ever happened before?

I second JBun's questions... changes in poop reflect - either changes in what you're feeding or changes in what the rabbit(s) choose to eat.

Hey guys, no she hasn't changed her eating habits, theres no blood and no stringy mucus, she is not doing it as much but hed ears are constantly going cold to warm is this normal, also as I watch her pretty much every second lol I've noticed when shes relaxing or a sleep her teeth do a chatter but shes never done when she awake, only when shes asleep, I've lost 2 of my rabbits recently and terrified I'm going to lose my last one.
I've been told sometimes they do chatter teeth when there asleep. Like she is dreaming. Shes eating like normal and drinking.

Is she still producing the odd shaped poop and if so is most of her poop like that? Or is most of her poop normal round balls with just a few odd shaped ones? Has this been happening since you got her a month ago?

Cold and warm ears will depend on her body temperature. Usually when they are resting their ears will be cooler and when they are up running around their ears will get warmer. This is how rabbits cool their body down is from the blood vessels in their ears. This is also how you can tell if a rabbit is starting to get too hot, is their ears will feel very hot.

Chattering while they sleep is normal. It's contentment, a good dream, hard to know but they usually do it when they are sleeping pretty soundly.

Her poop has gone back to normal but now shes sneezing alot, I took her to the vets and thought it could be something that's either scratched her throat or nose as shes not showing any mucus and her lungs sound clear and her gut is working shes had an antiflam injection and seemed alot better but does still the off sneeze but shes been asleep on her bed since weve got back, not sure if that's just down to stress of going to the vets. X

Hi guys
We took her to the vets and they aren't too sure what's going on but to rule out sniffles she is on baytril and bio lampus for her probiotic she isn't sneezing as much as she was but shes like sleeping all the time and only gets up to eat her kale, pellets or hay. She scared me as she flopped onto her side and stayed there for a long time, I'm so scared I'm going to loose her, I'm period over everything but after losing 2 bunnies in weeks I think that's why I'm on edge, my rabbits are my babies, I havnt got kids so they become my babies

Hopefully she'll get better soon she's gorgeous, you said you only have her for a month or so and she's an adult so maybe there are some changes for her and she needs some time to adapt to the new place. I am no expert at all but know that I've got a rabbit who was left outside in cardboard box and other people took him in and then gave to me after a week as they have dogs and first couple days I thought he was very ill or very old as was just staying in the corner not eating first 10 hours then started drinking and eating next day and he had his snuffles as well I didn't go to vet just cleaned his nose with chamomile tea and gave some warm tea in his water bottle, made him warm and it was gone in like 3 days now he's feeling good and knows his name, eats and poops well he's very well tempered likes his place, I hope your Snow will be alright. Your poops don't look terribly bad in my opinion, just a bit larger maybe depends on food or something. She's very pretty I have a grey lop here in my avatar too.

Just wondering why was this important for the shape of her poop? Might be related to albino rabbits maybe they are different I don't know anything about them yet

As long as she’s eating and pooping regularly I’d say she’s on the mend. It’s good that she’s sneezing a little less, and she’s probably a little stressed from the vet as well.

Is she getting any narcotic pain medication? That could cause drowsiness. Baytril can also sometimes cause nausea which could result in more subdued behavior. You would just need to make sure she continues eating enough food each day.

If the lethargy isn't due to pain medication or the baytril, and she continues to sleep excessively where it's not normal but is unusual behavior for her, it might be a good idea to get blood work and xrays done, to make sure her heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys are all ok. If you aren't already seeing a rabbit specialist, that may be something to consider doing as well, particularly if the vet you are seeing now isn't terribly experienced with rabbits.

Hey guys

She is still sneezing but only when she goes to lie down.
Shes been to the vets 4 times now, had baytril for 2 weeks and has shown now improvement, but vet said her lungs are clear and her eyes are fine and not showing any other symptoms of the sniffles, she either thinks its because she was an outdoor rabbit for 3 years and now suddenly and indoor rabbit, so shes not used to the environment and I need to keep everything clean and exercise her outside to see if it helps, also she said I could be something lodge up her nose and if it doesn't improve or show any symptoms of the sniffles then it needs more investigating.
It's so scary, I've lost 2 buns from sniffles, I dont want to lose another I love her so much xxxx

I've just re-homed an outdoor lop girl now she's going to be an indoor rabbit just wondering how she's got sick from transferring her inside? Was that because of heating or something?
I am sick from heating myself every winter and trying not to use it a lot, especially at night, maybe I think it is also related. My home plants hate heating as well.

Vet Rx for rabbits can help with sniffles as well as respiratory issues, I second the chamomile tea mentioned by 'Poopy Poo', chamomile is antimicrobial and anti inflammatory, I add honey to mine for the added antifungal and antibacterial properties that can bring to the table as well, just make sure the tea is pure chamomile nothing else and that it's only just warm enough to have the honey dissolve as it'll kill off the good stuff if the tea is hot.
Make sure you're keeping everything crazy clean as bacteria from previous buns can infect new ones, and she can be getting reinfected by contaminated materials.
It'll also keep down allergens.
Also get her on some probiotics to boost her immune system and repopulate her gut bacteria. Bene-bac Plus if you've got it, or Apple Cider Vinegar 'with the Mother' added to her water will go a long way towards getting her back on track in regards to that. Can confirm that chamomile really helped with sniffles and good for cleaning eyes too, Smokey loved tea and dried chamomile too, other two weren't very impressed but got some too.
When Smokey was unwell I gave her more herbs, about a handful of dried mint every day and dried thyme - she ate woody parts as well as I dried on long stem, dried chamomile, little sage too, but 1-2 leaves only as it is very strong. Also I think cranberries really helped with her urination problems I gave two berries one evening and two next evening, I use cranberries myself as natural remedy and it is very effective.
What about apple cider vinegar I never use it but heard it is good

ACV's a probiotic that is bunny safe, works like yogurt does for us to boost immune system health. I make up gallon jugs and do a 3 month on 3 month off rotation for my rabbits water supply. Two Tablespoons per gallon should do fine just make sure you get organic so you know the apples were grown and processed pesticide free and that the label says "with the Mother" or something to that effect. The 'Mother' is where the good bacteria is in high ratio. Shake the bottle before dosing the water and shake before filling bowls. I add unsweetened cranberry juice to their water from time to time as well but that's typically during the months they dont get the ACV water so they dont get too acidulated. ACV bonus it also cuts down on calcium in their urine and helps cleanse the kidneys & works for bladder sludge issues too and cuts down on bad smells there if there are ever any problems in that regard.
You can always grow some Echinacea flowers as well for immune system health support, easy to have a pot of them or plant outdoors pluck the flowers and hang to dry then feed them when they're needed - you can toss one occasionally into their hay, you grow it you know what went on it...

Got Echinacea roots recently going to plant in a week or so, hopefully will have some this summer. I second for importance of prevention not a fan of official medicine myself. Thanks for the info on ACV
