Okay firstly Im more of a dog person but I believe my cat killed this guys siblings. So I've been bottle feeding it with the aspiration to release it back into the wild. It's seemingly becoming more and more less likely though...but today he suffered an injury right after I fed it it's bottle. It SHOULD be on solid foods now but I don't know what the wild ones eat. But heres what happened...i don't know what to do...
Ok I need some help please. The hare had an accidental injury during feeding. I was just giving him his formula and I feed him standing up so I don't get the formula on my shirt. And I hadn't noticed the cat had come and layed down beside where I was standing. I tripped over him and the hand I was holding the hare in had come down on the corner of the t.v. and pinched the hares hind leg. He gave a little scream and I kinda did too when I saw what I'd done to him. I don't see blood and it's not broken. He's walking around on it just fine and a few seconds later acts as if nothing happened. But this looks bad. Is there anything I can put on it? He's going to the rabbit lady on monday but she's not answering right now. Is there anything I can put on it or do for him till then? Even though he's seemingly unaffected by it, i still feel horrible. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
