Do you know what the symptoms of an irritatednerve are? I tried doing a search on google for it and I cant fine it.Maybe he didnt do something to his spinal cord? But I cant find muchinformation about ANYTHING! :)

Yes! Some good news fortoday. Looks like the meds are working. Plus, hisbowls are moving so the paralysis hasn't affected that part of hisbody. Maybe it is just swelling and he will regain full useof his legs again.

{{{Dash}}}

you can look up sciatica...that would be theinflammation of his sciatic nerve...most likely you are only going tofind results for people..but nerves are nerves...if he does havesciatica it is something that will go away on its own, but he can haverepeats of it....the most common symptoms of it are tingling, numbnessand paralysis as well.....i have a slipped disc which is the cause ofmy sciatica and if i sit for extended periods of time or even sleepingmy leg will go completely numb and i ahve absolutely no useof it...sneezing and coughing are tricky things for me to they knock myleg right out! and also with sciatica make sure you massage his lilmuscle or give him some exercise ..any tension of the muscle againstthe nerve will make it more inflammed.. so try and keep the surroundingmuscles as loose as you can!

awwww I just caught up to this topic, I am verysorry! Just keep encouraging him and praying, and I'll keep all fingersand paws crossed over here! good luck and please keep us updated!

OK I have a delema! :) When Dash was sick theother day he got a really messy bum, and I mean REALLY messy! I havetried to take it off but it is like stuck, and I tried to cut some ofit off but he wriggles around to much and I dont want to cut him. Sohere is my question, do you think it would be OK to soak his bum inwarm water? Like in the sink or something? I am afraid his skin willget irritated if I leave it there to long.

You know the wheels they make for dogs who can'tuse their back legs? I wonder if a bun can use them too...I know theymake small ones for tiny dogs.
