So I talked about our new baby on my intro page but I'll get her posted here where she belongs as well.
I would like you to meet Bambi, originally introduced as Willow. The original name we gave her just wasn't working for us so the kids decided on Bambi last night. (My mom just adopted a baby polish she ended up naming Thumper hence their decision.)
Bambi is an 11 week-ish old Continental Giant given to us by my generous neighbor. We are still learning about her personality but she definitely has some mood swings so we just give her her space when she wants it.
I've only ever adopted adults, which is why I joined this forum in hopes to find even more info. She deserves to be pampered and that's exactly what she will get.
(Just wanted to say that the pool is not her forever home. I'm drawing up plans for my husband and I to build a huge cage in the living room for her that she can safely and comfortablely be in when we aren't home or in bed. Otherwise the plan if for her to have the run of the house.)
