Hi everyone! My name is alison and I got Thor about a month or two ago from people in our neighborhood (one of them was allergic). We have three cats, one dog, three turtles, and a hedgehog. I got my first rabbit in 7th grade, but she passed away last year at 8 years old. I was hesitant on getting another one so soon but my dad fell in love with Thor as soon as he saw the pictures online. We don’t know much about him but they said they got him in february. Any idea what breed he may be?

I've already fell in love with your Thor too, he's a very good-looking and humble-looking little rabbit! If they got him in February he must be about 6-7 months old now.
I would say he has some mini rex in him I would be interested to hear other members opinions on that.

He's beautiful! I'd say he's a mix, I don't see a lot of rex in the fur, but maybe in the body type. What a handsome and well-loved little fellow!

I agree rexes often are plushy plushy, but I've also seen not so plushy rexes, maybe they were not full rexes, can't say for sure. Hopefully @SableSteel will see this thread and will tell us more, here's some info about rexes

I agree rexes often are plushy plushy, but I've also seen not so plushy rexes, maybe they were not full rexes, can't say for sure. Hopefully @SableSteel will see this thread and will tell us more, here's some info about rexes

Looks like our boy Cosmo--he's a rescue from N California so we only know his approximate age and that he's a mix--very happy and friendly and likes to lick our legs and hands and shows off by sprinting around.

Cute bunny (and dog). He looks like a mixed breed. Mini rex always have that plush rex coat (it's a recessive gene), so anything without that plush coat isn't a mini rex. Honestly, the only defining trait of a mini rex is their coat - otherwise they are pretty much rabbit shaped rabbits, so you can't really say that a rabbit has mini rex features without the coat.

Heres my second gang , chopsley ( chops for short ) and zoey . . . They are a handful besides my girl(s) and boy(s) ( the fancy butt nuggets )

I don’t think that he’s a mini Rex, his fur looks too long, it’s most likely that he’s a mix.
