Hi Varna

My two girls were much worse about using their litter tray for a fewdays after their op but I put it down to them being sore and not veryhappy with life :(. Once they felt better theystarted usingtheir litter tray 100%which was better than before their op:).

I think if you give Lucy a bit of time she'll be fine about using it again :D.

I hope she's still recovering well.

You might try cleaning the "new" corner of the cage with white vinegarto eliminate any urine odor on the wires that may be suggesting it is anew toilet area.

Do the same for the tray below, even if you have paper there. Clean the tray and replace the papeer in that case.

If she still persists, you may have to put the litter box in the newcorner, or use two litter boxes until she determines which one will bethe primary one. Don't worry if she's a bit crowded for a while.

Having written all the above, give her a change to heal from thesurgery before you make any changes or try any retraining. She just may have to take a little longer to re-establish her urinarycontrol.

Hey Varna,

Before Foo Foo Bunny was spayed she wasn't very well litter trained. After the surgery she didn't show any improvement or regression. It'snow been about 4 weeks I think, maybe longer and she's suddenly startedusing her litter box almost exclusively.

I think you'll see some changes in the coming months.
