Happy Rescue

Just wanted to say thank you to all that havecontributed to this forum. We rescued a bunny who now goes by theunique name Thumper, LOL. I wasn't to sure if we were theright family for this addition to our family. Never having theresponsibilitiy or knowing anything about them left me assured thathe/she wouldbe better with a more seasonedowner.Well, that was before I started reading your forum, now I know that wenot only provide food, water and chew toys, but that he/she has apersonality that we in joy, as thumper has now becomepart of our family and enjoys all the personal attention that our catsare jealous of, I can only hope to keep learning and providing awonderful life for this gift to our family.

Hi like you I rescued a rabbit from a neglectedhome - children lost interest and poor Herbie was relegated to a verysmall hutch with no excercise at all (talk about a fat bunny!) Anywaywe now have another rescue rabbit and they have a wonderful life and itis a real joy to watch them around the garden. I'm so happyyou have discovered how much happiness these beautiful intelligentcreatures can give. Merry Christmas

Not everyone is a bunny person. But us bunnypeople get kind of weird about our rabbits. I think most ofit is that non bunny people don't know that rabbits have so muchpersonality and are "real" little characters. I am glad that I foundthis forum too!
