I know this is going to sound nuts, but i am a verytactile person. I learn by using my hands and if I am able to actuallyfeel like the structure of a good bun and its fur etc...it will help memake a more informed desicion when i get one. this is going to be amajor expediting procedure....gonna have to sneak the lil one in whenit eventually happens!! thanks for the answer blue giants!!Are you able to handle any of the buns while you arethere, or looking only?
Just talk to the breeders that bring the bunnies. Most peoplewill let you handle/pet/hold a rabbit if you let them know you'reinterested in the breed. Honestly, I have met the NICESTpeople at the rabbit shows. I used to show and handle dogs(Sporting Breeds) and I quit it and walked away. (It wasn'tthe dogs I didn't like.....) Most breeders are keen tointroduce you to their rabbits and breeds.
If one breeder doesn't answer your questions or help you, there are usually more there!

If You buy a rabbit from abreeder their numbers are already tattooed inthe left ear of the rabbit ,, I f Youare the breeder you assign anumber to the. I know everyonedoes it differently , some usethe first Letter of the Month the rabbitwas born , then thier rabbitryInitals and them # of how manyin that Particular litter . Others havedifferent ways if marking them . MyPalomino Babies wqill have my rabbitry Inital andalso one from the Breeder whom theyoriginally came from then anuber for which rabbit in the litter, so expample will beI have a dumb question:
Where do you get the number for the ear tattoo?
Do you get it with the rabbit's papers when it isborn and registered?
