lol !! im still afraid of big bunnies, but its an irrationalfear and i know i said this in another post, but i that if imwith that bun while it grows up i'lll be fine. and besides i havereally fallen in love with those pals!! Are you able to handle any ofthe buns while you are there, or looking only?

Just talk to the breeders that bring the bunnies. Most peoplewill let you handle/pet/hold a rabbit if you let them know you'reinterested in the breed. Honestly, I have met the NICESTpeople at the rabbit shows. I used to show and handle dogs(Sporting Breeds) and I quit it and walked away. (It wasn'tthe dogs I didn't like.....) Most breeders are keen tointroduce you to their rabbits and breeds.

If one breeder doesn't answer your questions or help you, there are usually more there!

I know this is going to sound nuts, but i am a verytactile person. I learn by using my hands and if I am able to actuallyfeel like the structure of a good bun and its fur etc...it will help memake a more informed desicion when i get one. this is going to be amajor expediting procedure....gonna have to sneak the lil one in whenit eventually happens!! thanks for the answer blue giants!! :)

Sharon

Anyone else coming?

I'll definitely be there. Gypsy, her sister, and Cassi are coming, asis Freddy'sMom if all goes well.

-Carolyn

Most definitely, we will!

I think we have to be there by 8:00 a.m.

Have you been to this show before, Sharon? Bringchairs! It's going to be in thecowbuilding.

-Carolyn

Yes, I have been going to this show now for 13years! This is one of the few rabbit shows that is held in abig enough barn. Normally, we are all squished in and thereis no room for chairs and grooming tables. Yes, it is in theDairy Barn. The show starts at 9am. You only haveto come before that if you entered rabbits in the show, or want to talkto a judge about something. Otherwise, you can come when youwant.

Sharon

We should all decide on a place and time to meet (like the door next tothe secretary's table or something.) I know who Gypsy is buteveryone else I am not sure. Wouldn't it be funny if we haveall seen each other before?

Very much looking forward to seeing you again, FM! I think weshould get directions for you because we're leaving the house so earlyin the morning that it'd be silly to have you meet us by 7:30a.m.

Sharon, we'll definitely have to figure something out. I'msure I have seen you there before. I've been going to thatshow for about 4 years, as a spectator, not to show my babies.

-Carolyn

Sounds like 8:30 at the raffle table is a great idea, if we don't seeeach other before that. We were planning on getting there by 8, butmaybe we can get there a bit sooner. It'd be cool to set up shop neareach other if we can.

I'll be wearing my Boathouse Bunny Party 2005 T-shirt that Laura hadmade for me, so if you see me, be sure to tap me on the shoulder. Idon't know what you look like, otherwise I'd be on the lookout for youas well.

Very much looking forward to meeting you and yours.

If You buy a rabbit from abreeder their numbers are already tattooed inthe left ear of the rabbit ,, I f Youare the breeder you assign anumber to the. I know everyonedoes it differently , some usethe first Letter of the Month the rabbitwas born , then thier rabbitryInitals and them # of how manyin that Particular litter . Others havedifferent ways if marking them . MyPalomino Babies wqill have my rabbitry Inital andalso one from the Breeder whom theyoriginally came from then anuber for which rabbit in the litter, so expample will be

SBV 02 for say Hyjxnx , heis from my rabbitry hence theSB the V comes from the Vaills breed line . the02 is he is the secondbuck tattooed . I want tokeep the Vaill Lineactive hence putting theV on his ear , that way Iand anyone who uses him forBreeding will know where hecame from . Hope this helps.
