Hello! I currently have my rabbit (cinnamon dutch mix) free roaming in my bedroom (12 ft x 10 ft) but I'm struggling with the amount of hair she has getting everywhere. My old apartment had carpets so most of it would just get caught there and not float around so much, but now I have hardwood :/. I use a small air purifier by PARTU but it doesnt seem to help me much. Here are a few questions for you guys <3

1. Any good, affordable air purifiers for getting loose fur out of the air?
2. Recommendations for getting fur off my clothes and blankets? (I wear a lot of dark colors and her light brown strands are super apparent)
3. Advice for getting fur out of long, shaggy rugs?
4. Advice for limiting the amount of hair that floats around while grooming?
5. Besides the hairbuster, any other good grooming tools?

Hope this helps! These are my suggestions.

1. We have been very happy with our Winix air purifiers, though I will say it doesn't help with the hair as much as I'd like.

2. I keep lint rollers in almost every single room and use them frequently! Between the bunnies and dogs, it's all I can do! Clean the lint trap in your dryer frequently if you have one, wash your bedding at least a couple times a month, put clean laundry in closed closets or drawers, and store dirty laundry in a closed top hamper- not the floor or mesh hampers (this made a big difference for me).

3. You can try a metal lint roller like this one: Metal lint roller
Do NOT use that kind of roller on clothing, it'll snag. Works great on carpet. You can try using a shop vac too...

4 + 5. Brushes work great, but my personal favorite is to use slightly damp hands and run them over all directions of the coat. The fur will stick to your hands more than anything- rinse, repeat as many times as needed! My second favorite option is taking them outside and using my dog/horse blow dryer (COOL AIR ONLY) to literally blow the loose hair out (Angora people do this all the time). I find that it's easier when you have a helper and place the bunny on a table with non-slip footing, my preference is to cover the ears and eyes with a small towel and a hand to lessen the noise and "scariness" of it- especially for the first time.

I don't know what you consider affordable but the levoit air purifier seems good. I can't get it here but there are very many good reviews on the Amazon page and a lot of the reviewers have pets.

I'm having the same problem not that I don't have carpet. I put a large rug down in their pen and it has helped some.
I would say lots of rug coverage does help but it needs to be similar to carpet for the best effect: not so thin that the fur doesn't sit in it but not so thick that you can't run a vacuum over it. and then of course you need o vacuum at least semi regularly to keep that fur from coming back up into the air.

I use the Levoit air purifier and it works well but it also blows the hair around and up in the air so it's something you might find useful to run during the day when you're gone or at night.
It does suck the fur to it and I use my hand or a lint roller to remove the hair from the outside but the inner filter does not really pull in hair. Their fur is too long so it gets suctioned to the outside of the purifier, which helps at least a little if you clean it off in a way that doesn't send it all back into the air.

I use a pumice stone to get hair off of clothes, furniture, blankets, etc. It's cheap and works great.
