A friend and I are on YIM now and she just told me 2008 is the year of the rat:

Tigers don't get along with rats. Nor rabbits really. We prefer dogs.

I'm the tail end of the sheep according to the lunar calendar, but really a monkey if one looks at the Western calendar. Ah, the zodiac. How fun it was having to memorize how to write it in Chinese. Not.

I think 1993 makes you a rooster.

I think either 2011 or 2012 is the next year of the rabbit. I'm not sure.

And I'm a monkey.

2. When you're 12, 24, 36, 48. There's 12 animals so it cycles once every 12 years. My brother and I are 12 years apart so we're both tigers So are my step dad and aunt.
