Personally, I go for Revolution as its topical. And with the approval of your vet, you can give it yourself
Some would go for Ivermectin, but there have been cases when given orally, can be dangerous (usually due to OD). Better if it would be injected by your vet

Ivermectin isn't really reliably effective against fleas. Revolution(selamectin) is the most effective and safest to treat fleas with rabbits. But it is Rx in the US, so would need a scrip from your vet.

Thank you. I wanted to make sure Revolution was the way to go. My cats have been on revolution for years and I love it. One of my bun buns is going for spaying on the 14th and I plan on asking my vet for a prescription for both buns at that time. Thanks again!
Oh, I forgot to ask…I like to be well educated before each vet appointment…What is the dosage for a 3-4lb bunny?
Just ensure you get the correct rabbit dosage. Buns need a dose more then double what cats/dogs need. 18mg/kg
Do your rabbits have fleas? There typically is not a need to use a flea treatment as a preventative for rabbits. If they get fleas, they can be treated as needed. No need, in my opinion, to dose them up with medication unnecessarily.

I have been advised Revolution (for puppies and kittens) its the pink labelled packet is best all round also.
Dosage is based on the rabbits weight. The dose of Revolution/Stronghold(selamectin) for rabbits is 3x the dose used for cats/dogs when treating for fleas, or it's less effective(based on study conducted). Dosage is 18mg/kg when treating for fleas. You have to make sure it's dosed correctly or it won't clear up the fleas. So the amount used depends on the weight of the rabbit.
