First Day Back to School Pics!

Tanner started Kindergarten this year!! He started back last Wednesday, going half days until this Monday. He LOVES it! He likes his teacher, he loves the activities, and he has quite a few friends in his class already. I'm so happy he's enjoying it so far. I really wasn't sure if he was ready, but he obviously is!

Looking slightly drowsy, haha.

With my niece and nephew. They all look so thrilled to be up that early!

And today Alexis started her second year of university, to finish up her RN. She decided her classes were boring already. With her starting school it also means she'll start hibernating, which means when she's not at school or studying she'll be sleeping. Fun times for all!

Tanner looks so excited, even tho it's so early! Don't you wish they could keep that enthusiasm?

My 2nd oldest just started his 3rd year at Penn State....they grow up sooooo fast! My mom and grandma used to say that it's what we raised them for, but it's the hardest thing to go through. :hug:

Our public school doesn't begin here in PA until after Labor Day...so my high schooler still has a few days of sleeping in left!

Haha, Tanner is my son and Alexis is my wife.

I am elated that he is so happy with school... He really does enjoy it! He had a REALLY hard time with preschool last year, and I seriously considered keeping him back another year. But now I'm so glad I didn't!

Aww thanks, guys! I happen to think they're both pretty cute, haha.

Haha Prisca, those glasses are actually her new ones she got last weekend. She loves them. Easier for her to do in the mornings because then she doesn't have to waste time putting in her contacts when she could be sleeping for 10 more seconds LMAO.

I still can't believe it, Kindergarten... What happened to my little tiny baby? Before I know it he'll be where Alexis is, in college and all grown up! That'll be scary!

I dont want mine to grow up. My first son is already in 1st grade! and my second will be starting kindergarted next yr. It was yesterday that we brought them home from the hospital (**frantically tries to stop time**)
