And I bet BunnyMommy can drive faster than I can run or you can walk lmao.

Fauna is just so attached to Carolyn. When she is let out of the cage she more often than not is to be founddirectlyat Carolyn's feet. When Carolyn moves fromone place to another, Fauna follows as if she were on aleash. She loves her Mom!

When she's had enough freedom, she shuffles back to her cage and letsherself in. I say "shuffle" because when she moves one ishard pressed to see her front legs in action, as they are so short andcovered by her dewlap. It appears as if her front end isrestingon some hidden "wheel," like a stuffed windup toy, andonly her back legs, with those enormous feet, are pumpingaway.

She's a hoot to watch when she suddenly discovers Mom has moved awayand she hurries to attach herself to momma's apron strings as fast asher little legs and body can carry her...and that is not terribly fast'cause she covers so little ground with each step.

It was a long time coming, but Fauna is right where she is supposed to be, now.

Of course, Carolyn gets the prefect bunny?while the restof us have rabbits that all have the same middle name, Trouble. Exceptme, I have double Trouble, I think Fauna should be mine. ;)

Carolyn you're lucky I'm so far away or you can bet your buns (punintended) that I would have raced you to get Fauna! ;):p?Give her hugsand treats for me, if you can that is. :)

"...I think Fauna should be mine."

*Laughs...Laughs...LAUGHS!*

You are so funny! You do make me laugh, Laura. Then you and dreamgaland BunnyMommy being "Race Rabbit"? That really gave me a laugh!

Buck's exactly right about how she hops with her short front legs andthe clod-hoppers in her back. I'll have to get you a rear shot becauseher tail is so bright white and beautiful. She's really funny to watchhop. I don't know how she does it.

Buck's rabbit, Missy, on the other hand doesn't know how to jump off ofthings. She tries to lead with her back feet. It's really funny. Hardto explain.
:?

I'll give Fauna her favor treats (parrot treats that Buck left) becauseof all the love on the board tonight. Thanks for bringing her in, Laura.

(Do you ever give your rabbits parrot treats? It looks like coloredcereal and it's so funny to listen to them crunch crunch crunch away.Buck was the one who introduced me to them.)

Hmmmmmmm ... parrottreats ... verrrrrry interesting...

So, are these less disruptive to bunny'sdigestive system than other types of treats?

Cheryl,

Her coloring is so gorgeous. It's silver and bright white.

My favorite feature of hers is the little tuft on the top of her headbetween her ears. You can fluff it up and it's perfectly straight andso incredibly adorable. It's like baby hair.

Your Honor, (Pamnock, ARBA Judge)

Do you know that little tuft of hair I'm talking about?

Is that something you would judge on a Holland Lop?

Not going to show my girl, but I'm just curious because it stands out to me.

Thank you.

No they are not less disruptive, BunnyMommy. They're purely junk, butthe rabbits Love them and it's really funny to listen and watch themgobble them up.

I don't even know what they're called, but they look like coloredfruits. Pure Junk and fed very moderately. You'll see them at Petco andpet supply stores. You'll know them right away.

I should've known you'd pick up on the notes about treats. *laughs* Weren't you the one who confessed to being a Treataholic?

Thanks, Buck! :D

For more information regarding actual ingredientsprowl aroundhttp://www.zupreem.com.I buy the large nuggets at a local feed store for about $1.89 per poundloose. Another pet store near by carries it as well, but I'venever queried the price.

Although the leading ingredients are ground corn, soybean meal, groundwheat, vegetable oil, wheat germ meal, wheat middlings, sucrose(low onthe list), dried whole egg, and a bunch of vitamins and minerals, itdoesn't seem terribly bad as a treat compared to yogurt drops, forexample.

Looks good, apparently tastes good, and probabaly smells good to thebuns. Stores well in a plastic bag or wide mouthjar. I use a little mini-scoop, probably a baking item, tomaintain portion control.

How unhealthy can it be if avian breeders feed it to their very, veryexpensive pets? Granted, it's efficacy for feeding to rabbitsand not birds, might be questioned, but I've been using it for yearswith no apparent ill effects.

There was that one bun who sprouted a pair of wings, but they were muchtoo small to be of any practical use...but that is another story foranother time. LOL;)
