Eye infection

My rabbit appears to have developed a wee eye infection. I thought I accidently knocked his eye when playing with him on Monday and last night noticed his eye had gone slightly *****. With the vets being closed now for New Year I am worried about what to do?

Sorry but what is actually wrong with his eye?

Is it weepy? What colour?
Scratched?
Is the eye itself clouding?
is there pink stuff protruding?

It is slightly weepy and getting stuck shut sometimes. Bathed it with boiled-cooled water and seems much better tonight. Still eating like crazy and as playful as ever so will keep an eye now.

You can make an eye wash out of tea or home made saline solution for conjunctivitis. Just google– rabbit conjunctivitis tea eyewash and you will find recipes.
