Ear cleaner recommendations?

I was curious what ear cleaners you use for your rabbits. I've noticed a build up of wax in my rabbits ear and I'm way to scared to clean it will a q tip since it's so close to the canal! I've seen people use ear cleaners that are for dogs and cats, and was wondering which ones are safe. I saw that epi otic is suppose to be safe for rabbits as well as otirinse but the only epi otic I can find is the advance one. Any opinions?? Also, I'm not able to take my rabbits to the vet since money it short this month. Thank you so much

Oh I shouldve clarified I dont have a lop I have two bunnies who have ears that go straight up. But my oldest has dirty ears and I'm way to afraid to use a q-tip or even get close to the canal. So I wanted to find a rabbit safe ear cleaner/rinse.

How old are they? I’ve not known any up-eared bunnies who can’t clean their own ears. Definitely don’t use a q-tip, but I would still stick to the method on the website I linked

They're about two years old. My youngest ears are pretty clean, but the older ones ears are a bit dirty. The dirt is pretty low in the ear and am really scared to clean it out.

The thing is it's hard to see if its early stages of ear mites becasue theres no pictures.. most of them are pictures of when its left untreated for a long period of time. The thing that doesnt make sense is that my other rabbit has no ear wax at all or any spots. The one with the wax started to get spots in her ear, but this only started to happen once I started to bond my two rabbits. One likes to lick the inside of her ear and sometimes bits a little too hard. She had a little bite mark in the beginning but its healing and turned a brown color.. so not sure If the brown spots are nip marks that are healing. I really cant tell the difference between ear wax and ear mites or a nip mark that is healing.

Quite young then. If it’s a young, non-lop rabbit with no mobility issues, I would question why they can’t clean their own ears. I do know you said you can’t go to the vet this month, but I’d probably want to have it checked out when you can afford it.

They're both about two! And her ears arent REALLY dirty. When checking her ears she did have some ear wax in them. Not sure if it's normal for them to have a little bit of wax in their ears.

I would say it's possible it's ear mites and not just ear wax. And you don't want to clean the crust out if it's mites. They need to be treated.
Can use ivermectin pour on , 2 to 3 drops in each ear , and in between ears. Repeat day 10.

I guess we're blessed that our Mini Satin, Freya, is always cleaning her ears. It's the cutest thing ever. Here I thought nail clipping and helping with shedding is all we had to worry about. After spending $800 at the vet recently they told us to bring her back once a month and they'd take care of her nails for us.

I had a lop eared bunny before my current bun, the vet said that buns keep their ears clean by shaking their heads to dislodge wax. My vet would check bunny's ears with a light like the doctor does on us humans and if he found excessive wax he would clean it out with a special tool. I would never have tried that myself. The vet told me to never put anything in my bunny's ears.

Just thought I'd share. You'd hate to do something that would injure your sweetie.
