Hi there, I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to syringe feed your rabbit their meds?
We recently noticed that Belle was a bit lethargic and her appetite had diminished, we decided to see if she was any better the next day. She progressively got worse the next day as she was unsteady and falling over, this worried us a lot so we took her to the vet. They either said spinal injury or e.cunicli. Once she was back at home she started falling over again and thrashing her legs around, it got to the point where she knocked a bowl of water on herself and I had to hold her still so she didn't hurt herself or Gus. Fast forward a few days and lots of vet trips later she is on the mend and is eating, drinking and walking around a lot more, her poops are a bit small but they are getting bigger. We are starting a 30 days of meds so fingers cross it works!
She also had a gut stimulant and three days worth of the e.cuniculi medication.
Sorry that was a really long post.
Thanks in advance for the tips.
