I wanted to potentially get the bunnies at the shelter some toys from the dollar tree (as i can order by the case and it'll be cheaper), but would these items be safe, the descriptions are a bit vague.
(one i've seen in store but can't find on the site, but i found it on hobby lobby just marked up)

I’d be worried they have some chemicals (Pesticide) on it.

I think plastic toys would be a great alternative & would be found at the cat section at the dollar store.
And stacking cups (the hard plastic not the teething type) would be in the baby section. 🙂

they have plastic toys, they only have plastic balls so i wanted to spice it up

I personally avoid plastic where possible, some rabbits are chewers and can get blockages from plastic parts if ingested. Here's some pics of chewed plastic parts and toys I've posted previously. For the toys in your first post I think they are safe provided there no chemicals involved, especially wooden cubes, balls, birch or appletree logs, birch or pine tunnels for hamsters work great too, I've never tried pinecones but read that they are lots of fun too but if you are going to buy decorative make sure they are free of chemicals. Not sure about wreaths depending on the size and also not sure about bamboo, I wanted to make a few bamboo toys as well but find some conflicting info so not sure if it would suit rabbits. Willow sticks are great and also they sell small bridges for hamsters they can be used as chewing toys as well, I have larger hanging bridges for rabbits as well but they are more expensive, they are great. Pine hide houses are good they love chewing on them, but one of them lost one piece on the back and I found that they are attached with tiny wire which can harm my rabbits so I fixed it with a proper screw.

yea honestly some of the plastic toys and even the litter boxes are a bit chewed, she's trying her best but ik they're bored (cages are all around 9 ish sq ft or larger and they get exercise once a week bc there's so many rabbits) i'll probably ask her about the toys to double check but i didn't wanna ask if it was super common knowledge that they're dangerous

I avoid buying anything from China. Their products don't have the same standards as North American and European products. You may have to pay more for non Chinese made but it's worth it.
