Does rabbits sleep more during winter?

Haru has been sleeping all the time.. does rabbits do that during winter? even though it’s not cold here..

I haven't noticed that with my rabbits. However, my buck goes through two "digging" phases twice a year, with one being right around the start of winter.

It can depend on whether the rabbit is inside or outside. Our outside rabbits didn’t necessarily sleep more but they weren’t quite as active. They also ate less when it was cold.

She’s inside and it’s not cold
