On tonight's menu
I decided to revamp the salad lol
I went shopping just for the bunny bunch today and picked up all kinds of fun greens and stuff, ok so some was for me too lol but I think they can share a little.
I made the coolest salad ever for these guys and gals (or at least that they have ever had in there life time I think) I have three different lettuce in there, some cilantro, cucumber slices, spinach, broccoli, mustard greens and some strawberry slices. I guess I am determined to spoil them completely lol but I wait till kinda late to give it all to them because I noticed if they get even one taste of it in the day they wont touch there pellets so its kinda dessert for them I guess. just wondering what all others had on the menu tonight? oh and the dinner and a movie thing was because as I was chopping everything up the kids and my hubby were watching the muppet movie lol so it just felt right lol

Parsley, Apple Slices and Broccoli. Plus a Harry Potter Marathon.

So glad to hear you are spoiling your buns. Know that sense. Do it myself. And what treat for these guys and gals. They probably loved it and I believe it's probably the first time they ever had veggies and fruit like that.

You will see such a difference this day. They will want to be right in your face when they see you. Congratulations! Your bunnies now know they are truly in a different place. Will definitely help wipe out bad memories.

Honey prefers romaine & won't touch mustard greens. I give greens & pellets about an hour apart, but in her case it's the pellets & wheat germ that come last. You might want to be careful, though, about introducing more than one new food at a time, so their digestive system can adjust.

well the mustard greens are a no go lol they didnt like them like crazy they ate them last but I think ill go slower with more just some plain salads for a few days then try some new fruits. tonight was quiet and slow its super windy here and so they came in side to a warm lap each and watched the bucket list with us and played in my youngest daughters barbie house lol she was mad because potatoes pooped in the bed room and didn't use the big girl potty. Now that everyone (kids, dogs, chickens, and bunny's) are all tucked up in bed its mom and dad's turn nite all:bed:

I have a 13 year old daughter a 5 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. all three of them are doing very good with the bunny bunch no one is allowed to pick up or play with them unless there father or I are there because I don't want any bite's happening but our son has proven to be the bunny whisperer and has made fast friends with potatoes she goes to him and pushes his hand for petting and treats lol which he is happy to hold for her to eat at a less stressful stance such as upright lol she lays on the floor front legs out and back legs behind her all flat on the floor and munches what ever he gives her lol our youngest daughter knows the bunny's have owies and she has to be careful with them because again we got some tore up "meat rabbits" but she likes to sit next to them and watch them and tell me all about the bunny having a itchy nose "look he has a itchy hand and look mommy!!! that bunny went poop!!!!!she loves watching them drink she thinks its so cute she always puts her hands together and says "aaaaawwwwwwww the bunny's thirsty he drink his chocolate milk like me" and when I correct her and say hes drinking water she rolls her eyes and says " ok mommy." in that unbelieving way we all let our kids win an argument. and our oldest is a teenager nough said she cuddles only Oreo because hes the cute one" and she claimed him as hers.little does she know he loves everyone lol he will let anyone pick him up he likes cuddling he gives licks and best of all if your petting his ears while holding him sometimes he falls asleep in your arms. granted its only for a little bit but it still counts right.

I tend to buy what is in season and perhaps on sale to create a variety. Right now her favorite seems to be the spring mix which also happens to be my favorite. She will eat mustard greens in small amounts and same with turnip greens. She loves almost any kind of herb especially basil, cilantro, and parsley. We have been chowing down on some yummy strawberries too she doesn't like the blackberries so more for me I guess. I tend to feed her more fresh greens. She does eat her pellets and her hay but she will take the fresh and hold out for it. Usually she eats the pellets and the hay while we are sleeping at night. Right before bedtime she patrols the frindge bunny flopping right in front of it.
