different colored popsicle sticks toxic for my rabbit?

i bought some at the 99 cents store for a project but i ended up not using them. i'm thinking of using them to make my bunny a little house or something like that but im hesitant because im not sure if they could be toxic because of the paint. they didnt come with any info just the sticks in a bag.

anyone know if they are safe or not?

I do know people who have used them before for rabbit projects...it depends what quality they are...some of the sticks we have picked up in the past had really cheap colouring and it came off very easily...if that is the case with these ones I would suggest not using them for the bunns...at the least they will make a mess and the colours could run!
