I think I walked past the Abbey on the way to dinner - we stayed at a B&B on the east of town, and ate at the hotel on the left of the street picture of Ennis (the door with the two lamps), and I'm pretty sure our path took us right by the Abbey.
Afraid not - in '07 I took the Tarbert ferry and bypassed Limerick on the west. In '08 I was nearer, passing by on the N20 and then north to Tuamgraney and then to Ennis. So, I've been past Limerick, but never to Limerick. Someday...Don't suppose you went to Limerick.
Not yet, but someday! I have Scouting acquaintances in Northern Ireland (Belfast and Antrim) I'd like to see some time.i guess not taht you did not see derry. or wait. *cough, cough* LONDEN derry
