No ongoing pain killers? I think you can givebaby asprin, not sure of amount, hopefully someone else can answerthat. As long as she's eating a little bit her system willkeep going. I bet by morning she'll have eaten a lilmore....she's prolly still pretty out of it I'm guessing.....WAY moreinvasive than Devon's surgery! Please keep us posted tomorrow on howthings are goin!

Last night when I posted I forgot to mentionthat they gave us some painkiller (not sure what kind) to give to Amberthis morning and tonight.

Even nibbling hay is better then nothing at all. Stephanie's bun refused food after her spay.

Offer treats (cheerios are what Gir ate after his operation) and just make sure she drinks and poos!

As long as she's eating, she'll be ok. Offer her anything, raisins, carrots, parsley, hay, whatever to tempt her to eat.

Our doe Abby refused to eat and we had to force feed her several timesa day for three days. She was also in quite a bit of pain, so we gaveher baby aspirin, which you can give to Amber if you think she needsit.

By the morning of day four, Abby was feeling MUCH better and had torethe cage apart to get out. We had separated her from the other twowhile she was healing and wanted out big time.

Everyone is doing well. Devon seems to be prettymuch like his normal self. He is eating, drinking, and pooping fine. Infact right now he is giving me a look that says, "Oh come on, pleaselet me out! Pretty please! I want to run around!" Amber is still kindof out of it, but she has made steady improvement since last night. Sheis eating and drinking a little more, and she has started pooping. Shealso seems more alert and comfortable after her first painkiller(Buprenex).

P.S. Sorry I didn't respond earlier, my internet connection was down.

Yay!

My boys were both fine the next day. That night actually, although I kept them in lock down for 24 hours.

So glad to hear all is well. :)

i'm so glad and Devon and Amber pulled throughand are doing fine now. Did you give them some extra treatsfor being such brave bunnies? ;)

Just wanted to give everyone an update. They areboth doing great. Even Amber seems ten times better. She eating anddrinking almost normal today. They certainly did get lots of treats. Ifigured its the least I could do after subjecting them to what I did. :)
