Depression of my rabbit.

Some days ago one of my rabbits is dead. It was a male rabbit. Before, two rabbits were so playful and happy together. But i am noticing some strange behave from my female rabbit. She is hiding herself more than usual, she is either sitting alone or laying down. She is eating as normal but sometimes she keeps the food plate aside and run away.
Is she in depression?
What to do now? Help me, i am also not feeling happy for that incident.

Ok, right away, you need to get watery veggies into her..pushhay..get her moving, don’t other just sit still because the bowels aren’t moving. You need t go buy Simethicone drops..they are with the baby items in pharmacy..they will help relieve gas.if the kale it wet then it will be getting liquid in her..it’s more important for her to have hay for the fiber.....how is her poop? Is it gel like? Was his? This is most likely GI Stasis...but when caught and handed well..can end well..that’s what’s going to happen here....she is already stressed from losing her buddy...so, no loud noises, etc...give her tummy rubs...you want to be gentle and firm enough to realease gas. These. Are the first steps...I don’t want overwhelm you ...focus getting her moving, get gas out, eat and drink...then, if need be, we can move to the next phase....but know it can’t be ignored...it works quickly and as you know, is deadly...if you need help before morning postings and I’m sure someone will see..let me try to find some of my old research

Ok, I found the best site I’ve yet to see for breaking it down fo a lay person treat their pet...there is a small section about going to the vet..skip over at and everything else yourself....there is syringe feeding where you grind up the pellets and water twice and then some SF apple juice..then another part where you can actually learn on utube how to place cathedar under your bunnies skin to give fluids...I had to do it to men child with medication for years..it’s easy...these things aren’t typically needed..but you’ll have the website and all of us for help

If she is still eating and still pooping normally, then she is not in GI stasis. There would be no need to syringe feed or make any changes to her diet. If she is still eating and pooping, then changing her diet can make things worse for an already stressed rabbit. Is she still eating her hay? pellets? greens? Could you elaborate on what you mean by She is eating as normal but sometimes she keeps the food plate aside and run away.?

If it is that her behavior has changed due to the death of her bondmate, then you'll need to give her time. Some take it harder than others. After a couple of weeks, if you still thinking she is not coping well, you could consider finding another bondmate for her.
