crusty eyes

Hey all you rabbit experts....
We have a 3 month old bun who has recently gotten crusty eyes. It's not too bad, but the thing that might bother him is that around each eye, there is one part where it has dried out to a point on his fur, so it is stiff and pointy.
Can I just take a wet washcloth and gently get that loosened up?

yup. if you have two bunns, they'll groom that off each other, so he shouldn't mind too much if you gently use a wet washcloth
