Cottontail? Or domestic?

Found this bun at about 1day old, he/she (I also need to figure out how to tell that) has finally made it past the two week mark. He’s very affectionate and calm. Just over 1 gram in weight and about 3.5 in long.

That is definitely a cottontail. That white little 'milk spot' on top of the head is one good way to tell.
 
Agreed -- cottontail. Please consider transferring him out of your care and to a wildlife rehabilitation service instead, as cottontails do not do well in captivity.
That’s what I was afraid of. Hopefully we haven’t domesticated him too much. Thank you
