Here is some background information to (hopefully) help with color identification!
Parents: BEW x Orange / Black Tri-Color
Siblings: harlequinized chestnut, broken black, harlequin, 2 tri-colors
I originally thought this baby was a broken lilac, but as it began to get fur, I realized the insides of the ears were white, the outsides of the ears / around the eyes had darker shading, and there was lacing around the nostrils. This color has really stumped me so far lol!
Unfortunately there are a lot of BEWs in its background, which makes color ID harder. There is a broken chocolate chinchilla a few generations back, but that is the only mention of this color variation. The dam has thrown chestnuts in the past... there are other colors such as red and magpie in this baby's background!
My main color guess is black / blue chinchilla. Open to other ideas, for sure.
