Black or Blue Tri-Color?

At first I assumed it was black/cream pattern, but it looks different than typical tri's. Is it possible the bunny could be a blue coloring, or is the heavy pattern throwing me off?

Here are some pictures, I would like to clarify this bunny is not mine, it is a friends and we are trying to determine the color! He has been bred before and does not produce dilute apparently. He carries Harlequin (trying to get the pedigree, so I can determine what variations) and red.

Looks like a black tri to me. Would be black/orange, they call it that regardless of how light or dark the orange is. This one just has particularly light rufus.

Interesting! He appears lighter than cream, but on his pedigree (which I just got access to) he is call a orange / black / white tri. Dad is a magpie and mom is a red!

So are there no other variations of tri-colors besides orange / black?

The only four variations of tricolor: black/orange, blue/fawn, chocolate/orange, and lilac/fawn. That's what they're called in ARBA standards, regardless of how bright or dull the fawn or orange part of it is.

Okay, rephrasing my original question, does he appear to be a black/orange tri, or a blue/fawn (cream) tri? His coat is too light to be considered orange (at least from my experience), as is his black coat quite light compared to other black tri's I've seen!!

Definitely black. The black patches aren't quite as clear cut; the orange furs mixed it make it look lighter but there are sections, especially on his face, that are definitely black
