Pretty! I think tattoos are really cool. I'd get a tat or two except for two things, permanence and pain, well, and there is procrastination. I don't even have my ears pierced, lol.

Love the tattoo! Tony did a beautiful job! I may have to think about my next tattoo... as a rabbit!

I have one tattoo - an American flag on the top of my left foot... a family who boarded their pony at a farm I worked at lost their first son at age 24 when the first plane hit the WTC back in 2001. Just 9 days prior, my hubby and I were there for a wedding, staying at the Marriott that was between the towers. So, it is art that is meaningful for me.

I designed a Siamese cat tattoo for a friend of mine - the kitty peeks above the line of her jeans...

Can't wait to see the finished piece!

Thanks, Denise!

911 was scary, huh? I was in Albany, NY (I'm a New Yorker, too) at the time....extremely scary.

I would love to see the Siamese kitty tattoo, it sounds so cute!

....WOW!

That tat looked fab just with the outline, but that colour work is amazing, if I was in the US I'd want a tat by your artist. I agree, it certainly suits you.

Personally I go for the lilac or a pale grey for the rabbits because your flowers are quite dark and the rabbits are the focus of the piece so I think they need to stand out more. I also agree that it would look cluttered with something in the middle because the shape flows really well the curves of your body and that bit of bare skin right in the middle just sets the whole peice off. It's just got such nice balance, it's really beautiful.

Even with your wedding dress on those tats are going to look fabulous!

Thanks, Jenson (PMing you soon, too)! I do agree with the Lilac colored bunnies. I also really love those (totally going to spell/pronounce this wrong) Champange de argent (lol!!) rabbits...the ones who are grey/blue flecked with darker nose points. I'll try to find a picture if you guys don't know which breed I am talking about. I think I have the breed right?

Alicia...Yep, I can have him do the sketch of Morgan and then "fake tattoo" it on me with that transfer paper stuff they use. I will be able to tell if it looks good or too cluttered. I think I will definitely have him do that, as the tattoo can't just be washed off after wards, lol.

I will have to see my friend so she can model it - she had a tattoo party - the artist did not follow my design 100%... next time I will have to be there to take over the pen...:biggrin2:

That transfer paper is a great idea - you can tweak your ideas before you pass the point of no return...

When I had my flag done, I had no idea that the top of the foot was "supposed" to be painful... my artist had to warn me to keep my foot still as every time the pen touched the toe tendons, my toes would twitch! A friend of mine who was well versed in the body as canvas said she thought the top of the foot was painful. Diabetic neuropathy has its perks, I guess!
