Ok guys... my bunny just got back from thevetlast Thursday (3 days ago) from being spayed and since shehas been home her attitude has really changed. She isconstantly digging at carpet and biting the fibers (not eating themthough, thank goodness). Way worse than before. Also, she really doesn't want to be petted or talked toorreally paid attention to in any way. We rescued her justbefore Christmasand she had really come out of her shell andwas becoming so much more social. Now it seems that she hasreally regressed to where she was when we first brought herhome. When we try to go see her, talk to her, or pet her, sheimmediately turns around and gives us "the tail" which I assume means"no thanks, just go away" Is this normal after surgery or isshe acting abnormal? Any ideas or suggestions? Ihave tried "bribing her" with some treats and such but she just getsthe treat and runs away to bealone.

My girls get like that after a vet visit too sodon't take it personally. Just give her some extra time to work it outof her system. :)

I qould just be patient with her and give hertime to feel at home again. After going through the stress of the spay, combined with the vet keeping her for days, she's probably justoverwhelmed.

I would just give her some quiet time for now. Let her come to you when she has play time.

I think after she fully recovers and settles in, she'll be her sweet self again.

Hi, have you thought of giving her a old phonebook to dig on. One of ours loves to play & dig atit. Just a thought.
