I was told by the breeder that he's a Holland Lop. I'm pretty sure he is one but I feel like his face and body look just a little bit different than the standard. He's only two months old so weighing him won't tell me much right now. I was just wondering what anyone else thought?

I think you're right. I've never owned a lop before so I still have a hard time seeing the minor differences between them! :p

Holland lops seems to change a lot as they mature. Their face does change, so what she looks like now might not be what he will look like when she is an adult. He does look fairly typical for a 2 month old holland lop. Give him some time to mature, all babies grow a lot before they are adults.

Thanks for the advice Korr_and_Sophie. I'll try to keep that in mind as Jack grows older! :)

FreezeNkody Haha thanks! He certainly is cute! I was surprised by how quickly his ears grew! :)

He's a holland (and a very cute one at that!); just still in the uglies :) No worries though, before you know it, he'll be all grown into himself (ears included!)

Aw haha I'm glad to hear that his slightly awkward look is normal for his age! :)

I have, with only one exception (and then she was a lop cross but didn't look it) only ever had lops....Mini, Holland and Fuzzy. Yes, I love lops! This little one looks a little more mini lop to me....however, with one of the recent additions to our family, I have learned that sometimes breeding for specific colors....like my tri that a more mini lop type can appear. Our Funfetti is 100% Holland lop and she is far more mini lop in type. I agree that it is far to early to really judge, but it sure will be fun to see more pictures in several months and see what the final weight is (although Funfetti is a tank! She is already over 4 pounds and she is not even 6 months old yet! LOL! Regardless of what kind of lop....IMO lops make the best pets and yours is super cute! I have included a picture of Funfetti that was taken a couple months ago when she was about 10 weeks old

Thank you so much for the info! That definitely taught me some things I didn't know before :) I'll keep tabs on his weight and post some updated pics on here once he grows a bit! And Funfetti is crazy adorable! I think my heart just melted!
