How do you guys set up your cages? Where does the hay go/what do you put it in? I was hoping to get some ideas as to how to set up my NIC cage. It has a divider and 1 other level.

Any pics would be great too!!

mine mostly eat hay in the litter box in their pen now, but I do have a hay dispenser in their condo as well (it just didn't work very well with alfalfa)... I got a little stackable "box" from the dollar store (which already had four holes in it), turned it so the "top" was against the outside of the cage wall/the "front" (which is open) was facing up and zip-tied it to the cage. the NIC grid wall functions as part of the hay rack, allowing them to pull hay through it.

I use this for their hay rack. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000DBMMO/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20. I have it zip tied on one side and then secure it with a dog leash clip. It is located on their shelf. The litter box is on the floor of their cage in the back corner. They have a tunnel that addapted. It was a concrete tube. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc...word=concrete+tube&storeId=10051#.UL1DE-RqRvA that I cut to usable lengths and then cut holes in the side of. (you need an electric saw to do this with). Their food an water bowls are in the front of the cage. http://www.petco.com/product/105767/Petco-Twist-And-Lock-Crock.aspx?CoreCat=OnSiteSearch. I use 2 of the 20oz for water and 2 of the 10oz for their food (they get a total of 1/2 cup of pellets between the two of them each day. I just devide it between the bowls for variouse reasons).

Hope that this helps.
