Hiya folks..
My 2 free run house buns just lost their Feline Gaurdian a week ago, tomorrow .
This is the 2nd death my little fella (double-mane lionhead named SmurphyMurphy CooperTrooper Pooper) has endured. The first was his wife a year after he came to live with us.
His new little wife (lop named LittleMiss Moomoo) could possibly be acting out her loss, or it's just a new bad quirk she's picked up, but she has been nipping my area rug I've had for years and she's lived with for the past 3 years I've had her.
My little fella seems more tolerating of me, which is nice but; that is a sign to me he too is greiving. Being he is hesitant to human interaction after being abused and neglected before I caught him (they threw him out the door and he spent his time in an empty lot when he was aprox 6-8 months old), he still has fear even towards me. But I love him and know him enough to let him have his safe space bubble, forever, if he needs it.
My feline would sit/lay outside in the bunnies expen enclosure with them, while they grazed and enjoyed the day outside..making sure no neighbourhood cats came stalking. It was very sweet to see. He also gave my little girl kisses every now and again.
I go to get his ashes back this afternoon and wanted to share a photo of my fur family the day before my fluffy fuzzer (Olly Ollie Oxen Free) passed in my arms.
And another of them having afternoon siesta.
In turn, why don't you use this thread to show off your buns and their fur Buds
