Bunny head shake! Please help

Hi everyone!

So I just went to my lop Ellie to get her out of her run. As I pulled her out she done something she never has before. Her head kind of tipped to one side,and it started shaking I got extremely worried but tried to stay calm and just sat down,held her close and tried to relax her. After about 10 seconds it stopped. Then she went completely normal,even munched on a rich teas biscuit And so I was wondering,do you reckon she had an itch? Or something more serious. Thankyou

This happened to one of my buns when he was young. I had startled him and he tipped over and started shaking, I picked him up and held him for a minute till he came back to his senses. He was normal after that and he hasn’t done it since, nor shown any other signs of something being wrong! Hope this helps! I would just watch her closely to make sure nothing serious is going on!

Without seeing it, it's hard to know for sure. But one thing it could possibly have been is a seizure. If you think it could have possibly been this, I would suggest taking her in to your rabbit savvy vet to get checked right away. It may have just been a one time occurrence or it could indicate something else is going on.
