Since friday my bunny won’t eat normally. On Friday she didn’t eat neither poop, on Saturday i took her to the vet and the vet gave me critical care to force feed her. She started to drink water on her own that night. Today I started giving her simeticone for gassy bowls and she started eating lettuce, carrots and a little hay. She also pooped regular shaped round poop. The big problem now is that I can feel her stomach really hardened and she seems sleepy all the time she stopped jumping around. I don’t have the vet nearby. What should I do? What could be happening to my bunny?

They are probably still experiencing GI Stasis. Call the Vet you brought them to and give them a update of their condition. Closely monitor your bunny. Continue the critical care, baby gas drops. Don’t give them vegetables at this time. Encourage them to eat hay and drink water. Monitor their temperature, don’t let them get too cold. Hopefully they can make it through to be seen again by the Vet. Did the Vet give pain medicine?

I second what was said above, call the vet and give them an update. The critical care helps but sometimes my rabbit won't take it so mixing it with some small amount of juice squeezed directly from an orange or a small amount of some mashed up banana can help. When I had to give my rabbit critical care I had to continue it for about a week. Did the vet say how long to continue medicine or when you should see results? The main thing to look out for with GI Stasis is making sure they're eating and pooping!

I agree with what was said above but it could also be megacolon. My rabbit stopped eating most of the time and had a very hard stomach. She was misdiagnosed a total of three times by two different vets before we switched vets again. She had the condition for about 2 months and lost 1/3 of her body weight. I hope you figure out what it is soon and she gets better
