Bunny Behavior

My bunny is an adult female and hasn’t ever really done this before but the past week or two she can’t stop shoving all of her poop box stuffing out of the box. Whether it’s freshly clean or gross after a day of going potty... she has to push it all out.

Has anyone else come across the bunny habit? And if so, do you have ideas on getting her to stop?

give her a box of sand or dirt to play with.

something hormonal is going on with her... the digging is often a precursor to wanting to nest, particularly if it's a new behaviour. if she's an older bun, fully adult that has NEVER done this in the past you may want to watch her closely to make sure it's not a sign of something going amiss with her.
