I noticed today my new bunny has small knots on his belly
i'm worried they'll get matted but he put up such a fight when i tried to brush his belly
does anyone have any tips for keeping the bunny calm while i brush his belly
when i got him he had horrible matted fur by his bum we had to just cut it off
whoever had him before abandoning him outside probably never brushed him

I set Theo on a table that is covered with a towel, and put my hands under his belly like I would when giving him a tummy massage. You can use a flea comb and slip it under his belly to brush the fur out. Normally I use a toothbrush on Theo, but that is only because his fur is so short. If he will let you, you can lift his front paws up, and get someone else to brush his belly.

thank you ! i feel so bad i feel like i've been traumatizing him ever since i got him
i had to double check his ***, cut off his matted fur, and now i have to brush his belly
i just wanna make the experience as easy and stress free for him as i can
