Teddy's teeth are growing and he doesn't eat at all for days. One of his front canines has grown crooked and long

You may need to take him to the vet again to see if they can help. I was hoping his jaw would heal fast enough where he could start eating hay again to grind his teeth down but it seems like that scenario isn’t happening

He'll need the tooth trimmed if it's affecting his eating. Which your vet should be able to do without too much trouble.
