Breed and Coloration? Rhinerland Lionhead?

Hey all!

Just picked up a new bunny for my boy (both fixed, intend to bond when she settles in). She eat given to me as an English Spot which I know for damn, isnt true haha. I've done some color research and have a possible breed/color but wanted to get some second opinions as well!

Currently shes about 7 pounds which I believe is overweight, owner got her when she was 5 pounds and fed almost nothing but pellets. Her fur is longer and very soft but not full lionhead obviously.

I believe her to be a Rhinerland Lionhead mix. Obviously from these photos it's hard to tell since shes laying down. I've seen her up and she does arch more but being mixed with a smaller breed caused the arch to go away more, shorter ears, smaller face. She does have the basic Rhinerland pattern only duller and broken. Spots on her hindquarters, missing cheek spots but has the broken butterfly mouth marking, eye spots, colored ears, broken back line and ears go into the proper V shape. No mane ehich would denote a lionhead but due to facial structure, shorter stance, broken pattern, I'm assuming some lionhead or other mini breed is in her somewhere.

What do you all thing? Agree? Disagree?

I'll get some better pictures eventually. Shes still very new to me so shes settling in.

I completely agree with Rhinerland and Lionhead mix. I looked up both breeds and I saw the same coloring and fur types as your rabbit's fur and coloring. I hope I helped!

Some more pictures of her. Shes definitely overweight for her structure. She does have the cheek spot on her left side but not right. Her pattern is muddled but definitely a Rhinelander somewhere in her gene pool as well as lionhead.

Because of her size and how short her ears are as well as rhinelanders being more rare I would not say that.

Tri color is seen in Rex and Lops mostly so there could be a mix of one of those breeds. I don’t think I would say your bunny is a specific breed mix because there isn’t one defying characteristic

As far as arching I would not consider your rabbit to be an arch type but more so a compact body type. Showable Tri Colors have balanced amounts between the orange black and white but there can be lighter marked rabbits and heavier marked rabbits all in the same litter depending on the genetic variation of the parents. Broken patterns in general resemble those of the Rhinelander and English spot which is the racing stripe down the back and the side sweeps as well as the eye circles butterfly ears and cheek spots so it’s not just something those breeds have specifically but more so a pattern that goes with the broken coloring
